Recently, Mr. Zhang in Yichang has totally been depressed. He entrusted his friend more than 10,000 RMB to buy a designer handbag, which was, unfortunately, told to be a fake one when he took it to Wuhan for maintenance.

　　Here comes the story. On April 17th, Mr. Zhang asked his friend Ms. Tian (alias) to purchase a Prada men briefcase for him when he heard that the latter opened an online store offering purchasing service. On April 29th, Mr. Zhang paid 12,050 RMB for the briefcase when he was informed by Ms. Tian that his order had arrived.

　　In the middle of June, Mr. Zhang took the briefcase to a care store in Wuhan for maintenance. To his surprise, the staff told him that the briefcase was a fake one. Mr. Zhang was so disappointed to have spent so much money on a counterfeit that he asked Ms. Tian for the manufacturer\'s invoice after returning to Yichang, but was turned town. “She had no invoice for me and promised sales return, but then she changed her mind and refused the return” said Mr. Zhang, when he asked the Trade and Industry Ye Mingzhu Branch for help.

　　When handling the complaint, the officers learnt that Ms. Tian was a college student in Yichang, so they headed to her dormitory. She insisted the briefcase was a certified product during the examine process, but no trade record with the Italian manufacturer was found in her computer. “Since you purchased it from Italy, how come there is no post record? Why couldn’t you provide the invoice? ” queried the officers. After the repeated query, Ms. Tian finally agreed to accept the return. On 26th, Mr. Zhang successfully got all his money 12,050 RMB in total back.

　　For consumers, the officers pointed out private purchasing agents generally cannot provide goods with assured quality, and it will be difficult for the consumers to defend their rights when consumption disputes occurred.
