On July 1, the Ministry of Culture was reported to have released the Catalogue of Recommended Projects of China Cultural Industries 2014, in which 8 are from Yichang.

　　The declaration of the cultural industry projects involves 13 industries, such as entertainment, animation, games, film, journalism, publishing etc.. However, the 8 Yichang projects are mostly about cultural tourism, including Tianxiaguangong Cultural Tourism City, Lanzhi Valley Scenic Spot of Zigui County, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Base for Qu Yuan\'s Hometown and Changyang Ba and Chu Culture Industry Park. Additionally, "A Dream Back to Xiangxi River" and the large stage show "Great Dragon Boat Festival of Zigui County" are relegated to the key performing project category; Chexi Ba and Chu Folk Culture Heritage Model Base, the Demonstration Area for Showing the Recovering Skill of Craftsman in Changyang Tujia Customs Park fall into the cultural industry project category.  (Reporter Yang Jing, Correspondent Li Qiaoming)
