On June 25th, the Conference on Leading Companies in Energy-consumption Products in Petrol and Chemical Industries in the Year 2013 was held in Beijing. Yichang Xingfa Group was rewarded as Leading Company in Yellow Phosphorus Production once again after it got that title last year. On behalf of these models in energy conservation and emission reduction, the representative of Xingfa Group made a speech at the conference.

　　As a company with more than 20 years’ experience of yellow phosphorus production, Xingfa Group speeded up in closing down backward production facilities, weeding out 15 small inefficient coal-fired boilers, 2 25t/h fluidized bed boilers, 1 25t/h coal-fired auxiliary boiler, 17 small yellow phosphorus electric furnaces, 5 backward facilities and nearly 300 electro motors in different types.

　　Xingfa Group now contains an annual capacity of 100 thousand tons of yellow phosphorus and an actual productivity of 80 thousand tons. For a long time, the development of yellow phosphorus industry was under restrictions in that it is high energy consumptive and highly polluting. In the past few years, by promoting manufacturing technique, upgrading facilities and improving management, Xingfa Group has saved 25,413 tons of standard coal per year, making more than 50,000 million RMB economic returns. All in all, Xingfa Group has been the leading company in the same industry in China for the past two years.

　　To achieve the automatic reform of the critical parts of raw ore, power distribution, refining, slag draining, slag granulating and phosphorus soil, Xingfa Group kept improving the manufacturing technique of yellow phosphorus and designed several control systems by themselves. The group has developed independently the technique of processing soil with poor phosphorus content by distillation, which brings an annual profit of 15 million yuan. The clean production technique, which ranks top nationally, has not only solved the greatest problem within the industry-the “sky lighting”, but also made the 100 percent recycling of flue gas possible, and that creates a remarkable economic benefit of 15 million yuan. This technique won the third-class scientific and technological prize of petrochemical industry and has been widely used within phosphorous chemical industry.

　　Xingfa Group constantly forges ahead with its production and energy conservation work of yellow phosphorus. It also established energy-conservation leading groups in the company and plants so that the three-level (company, plant and workshop) energy-conservation management can be achieved and the responsibility system for energy conservation can be put into effect level by level. The group is the very first in the country to establish a central energy managing platform, which enables it to press ahead with its energy conservation work by using information management method. To reduce the production cost, the decomposition and assessment of tasks are strictly enforced and the quota management for major energy consumption and equipment energy consumption is implemented.

　　Through a series of methods, Xingfa Group has decreased its energy consumption level to 0.6984 ton of standard coal for every 10 thousand output value.
