"One-stop" Service for Vehicle Tax
2014-07-14 11:54:33

on June 26, the Provincial Vehicle Purchase Tax Collection Reform Site Meeting is held in Yichang. Yichang IRS’s working practice and experience of offering service in vehicle market receives recognition. “It took me more than two hours to run back and forth paying tax when I bought a car in the past, but today I just need to manage it in auto market, it is fast and convenient.” On the morning of June 17, Deng Jian’an, an individual household said with emotion. The new tax network in Wujia District set up by Yichang IRS Vehicle Purchase Tax Collection and Administration Branch is put into operation. In the future, it is no more necessary for taxpayers who purchase vehicles in Wujia District to pay tax in Xiling District.

The Branch contacts with Three Gorges Xinwu Motown in Wujia District. According to standardized Tax Service Hall requirements, the Branch extends its service to second-hand vehicle market, which supplys full services of added-value tax, purchase tax, corporate income tax during vehicle production, sale and secondary circulation. Meanwhile, cooperating with vehicle administration office, insurance companies and used car assessment companies, the Branch is the first to achieve a “one-stop service” in Hubei Privince, including paying tax, registration, insurance and inspection, which gives great convenience to taxpayers.

Currently, the new hall offers services for new vehicles (including tax vehicles and duty vehicles) and second-hand cars, not only for Three Gorges Xinwu Motown and Manmin Auto Trade Market that are located in Wujia District, but also for auto markets in Xiaoting District. Previously, taxpayers need to go to Vehicle Purchase Tax Service Hall in Xiling District, which could easily cause traffic congestion. To make it more convenient, the Branch once launched a designated place to inspect vehicles. The tax services’ extent to auto market will further improve vehicle inspection efficiency.
