As a national e-commerce model city, Yichang electricity supplier once again launched the "blaster" for its development: on July 7, Wuhan Phoenix Cloud Computing Base Management Co., Ltd signed a contract with Xiling District government that they will invest 45 million RMB to build Yichang E-business Pioneer Park in Xiling Economic Development Zone, building an entrepreneurial paradise for Yicahng E-business.
Wuhan Fire Phoenix Cloud Valley Management Co., Ltd. rolled up the following pieces into one: small- and minimum enterprises service platform, data center, institute of big data, E-business operation, cloud educating platform, mobile internet research center and smart city research center. It is the first cloud computing industrial base invested and run by private enterprise.
Zhong Xuebao, president of the company, introduced that Yichang E-business Innovation Park was positioned as a modern E-business service industry. In the park, famous domestic and international E-business, cloud computing innovation research and big data enterprises will be gathered, and services such as business incubators and business started by university students will be provided. In the early phase of the park, 40 E-business and IT service enterprises will be brought in, and in subsequent phases, other relevant enterprises will be introduced, too. After the completion of the project, it will provide outsourcing services of E-business for all small- and minimum enterprises in Yichang.
According to the plan, Yichang E-business Innovation Park will be completed within 8 months, and will finish gathering industries within one year. Within 5 years, it should be built into a new E-business and logistics supporting service industrial park, covering 100,000 thousand square meters. In 2018, its industrial scale will reach 1.5 billion yuan.
According to information provided by the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, last year, the total online transactions in Yichang reached nearly 30 billion RMB and its network transaction index was above the prefectural level cities, ranking 95th.
