On the morning of July 8th, the opening conference of the sixth batch of construction projects is held on the site of South Station Road in Dianjun District, and 22 key projects with a total investment of 13.057 billion RMB come into operation. Ma Xuming, Mayor of Yichang, Wang Xingyu, Deputy Secretary of Yichang CPC Committee, Zhang Jianyi, Deputy Secretary of Yichang CPC Committee and other leaders attended the starting ceremony. Mao Chuanqiang, Member of Municipal Standing Committee and Vice Mayor, presided over the press conference.

　　Zhouqing, Vice Director of Yichang New District Office, said that the key projects are 10 municipal infrastructure projects with an investment of 1.615 billion RMB; 2 resettlement housing projects with a total area of 275,500m? and an investment of 935 million RMB, planning to build 2,827 resettlement housing units; 2 demolition projects with a total area of approximately 175,7893m?and an investment of about 637 million RMB; 8 community projects with an area of 2,563,000m? and an investment of 9.87 billion RMB. In accordance with the schedule, among the 22 projects, 3 community projects will be completed in 2017, and other projects will be completed within two years. 11 projects are expected to be completed within this year, including municipal infrastructure, demolition projects and a few community projects.

　　Since 2014, Yichang New District has made overall rapid and orderly progress in large public buildings, infrastructure, resettlement housing, parks, landscaping and other projects. The effect of land acquisition and demolishing is remarkable.
