On July 6, the signing and introduction meeting on ecological and intelligent industrial new city project was held in the city. Huang Chuping, Member of the Hubei Provincial Committee and the Yichang Municipal Party Secretary, and Ma Xuming, the Deputy Sectary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Yichang, met entrepreneurs and guests attending the signing and promotion activities.

　　Huang extended his welcome to entrepreneurs and guests and introduced the economic and social development in Yichang and Hubei Province. He said that the Provincial Standing Committee had great expectation towards Yichang, and Yichang was grasping the opportunities of the economic belt of the Yangtze River, city group construction in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River and subsequent planning of the Three Gorges Dam to build Yihcang as a sub-center city of Hubei Province, regional central city of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and famous hydroelectric tourism city in the world. He hoped that entrepreneurs from home and abroad should know more about and fall in love with Yichang, and then invest and root here, achieving win-win cooperation and common development.

　　Huang appreciated the strength, influence and reputation of CEIBS in China, even in the world, while meeting the president of China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). A lot of talents with great quality and responsibility have graduated from CEIBS. He also said that Yichang is striving to meet standards of Shanghai Free Trade Area through the ideas, mechanism, system, standards, measures, quality, ability and developing effect of the Area. We hope Yichang could be the first free trade area in our province and CEIBS could give us a guidance in the road of making Yichang realize a scientific, green and sustainable development, provide consults and build a long term cooperation mechanism. Meanwhile, we will appreciate it very much if CEIBS could promote Yichang to the outside world.

　　Zhu Xiaoming introduced the development of CEIBS and recalled the scene that he came to Yichang ten years ago. He said that Yichang was very impressive, well-developed and changed a lot. He promised that CEIBS will strengthen cooperation with Yichang in cadres training and learning to provide intelligence support for the development of Yichang.

　　Huang appreciated the support and trust of entrepreneurs and representatives of investors, such as Zhou Zhiliang, the president of China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation (CRSC), Yin Gang, the vice chaiman of CRSC, Andy Tan, CEO of Fine Communication Service Co., Ltd (Singapore), Liu Yi, KAYA Investment Group Co., Ltd, Wang Yanwen, Senior Director in Greater China of Emerson Network Power, Du Mingcheng, president of Jiucheng Surveying and Mapping Enterprise Group, Wu Tie, founder and president of Blue Focus Communication Group (BFCG), Tian Ye, president of Esquel Group. He said that we are under the pressure of economic slowdown, and in order to realize the goal of "steady growth, promoting reform, structural adjustment, improving people\'s livelihood", the key is project and enterprises. Cooperating with CRSC and other famous enterprises will have a great influence on optimizing Yichang’s industrial organization, urban function and construction of modern megalopolis. According to Huang, we should establish an idea that “industry and enterprise come first” to support and serve the project  while sparing no effort to promote a fast, sound, safe and win-win situation.

　　Zhou Zhiliang, thanked the Yichang Standing Committee and Government for the care, support and help to CRSC and introduced the development of CRSC. He said that the project will be implemented in accordance with the agreement and they will cooperate and co-explore with Yichang, building Yichang into a new eco-smart city with high-standard in Hubei Province.

　　While Huang Chuping met the representatives of Fortune 500 companies, he showed his thanks to them. He said that Yichang will learn from the advanced experience and ideas from Shanghai FTA to further optimize the environment, providing quality services for business development and achieving win-win cooperation and common development.

　　A yang and others indicated that Yichang was fantastic and a good place for living and working, and they will take this expedition as an opportunity to learn more about the advantages and characteristics of Yichang. They will also seek opportunities for cooperation to support the development of Yichang, realizing a win-win situation.
