On the morning of July 17, HKC Electronic Corporation Co., Ltd.(Shenzhen) invested 3 billion yuan in HKC Electronic LCD and LED backlight project, which marked the official setup of this enterprise in Yichang Electronic Information Industrial Park of High-tech Zone. This is the second high-tech enterprise established in the zone.

　　Huang Chuping, Member of Provincial Standing Committee and Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, Ma Xuming, Mayor and Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, and Wang Zhiyong, president of HKC Electronic Corporation Co., Ltd.(Shenzhen) attended the ceremony. Ma Xuejun, Member of Municipal Standing Committee and Municipal, Ma Xuejun, Secretary-General and Yuan Weidong, Vice Mayor attended the signing ceremony. 　　It is learned that the project has been planned to occupy 200 acres of land with an output of 2 million LCD TVs, 50 million backlights and LED lighting products. Moreover, HKC Electronic Research Center will be established and the associated businesses will be brought to Yichang. The project will be completed within five years with two phases. After the completion, this project will achieve an output of 100 billion yuan, offer 5,000 employment opportunities, and create more than 300 million yuan in tax revenue.

　　Wang Zhiyong expressed thanks to municipal government and municipal Party Committee for their support and trust. He said that Yichang is a pleasant and prosperous place of convenience, social harmony, economic development and strong industries. It is one of the most dynamic economic regions and the cradle for startups. He also promised to build the world\'s largest backlight production base in Yichang to achieve a highly vertical integration in the whole industry and create a regional LCD center in Yangtze River Economic Zone, which will give a boost to the construction of a modern mega-city.
