Recently, according to Zhongnan Equipment Company Ltd., the large hydraulic hoist cylinders produced by the company for Tonzilin Hydropower Station on the Yalong River of Sichuan Province have recently been shipped to the construction site for installation. The hydraulic cylinder travel is 19.76 meters, and the required length of the pistons is 22.5 meters. They are the world’s longest hydraulic hoist cylinders, which has set a world record.

　　Tonzilin Hydropower Station is located on the main stream of the Yalong River in Yanbian County, Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, which is the last-level cascade hydropower station on the downstream of the Yalong River. To meet the environmental protection requirements, the company has changed the traditional practice and invested over 100 million yuan to specially set-up pull plating equipment and has established the longest pull plating production line in China. It changed manual control into automatic control, open-air plating into enclosed plating and immersion plating solution into circulation type. On the scene, there can hardly see plating solution. The water consumption is also greatly reduced.

　　As the cylinders are 5 meters longer than the big trailer and weigh 37 tons, the company held a special meeting to study the delivery program to ensure the transport safety.
