After 27-hour travel by train, we finally arrived in Kunming in the silence of night. Eating instant noodles on the train has made us expect the famous Yunnan rice noodle eagerly.
　　Before going to the bus station in the southeastern of Kunming for the Stone Forest, we went to look for Yunnan rice noodle.
　　Just around a corner, there is a rice noodle restaurant with national characteristics. From the three Chinese characters of "Jianxinyuan", we guess it must be an old and famous shop. The shop is big and very clean. A lot of police with guns are enjoying the meal, which makes people feel safe, so we decide to eat Yunnan rice noodle at this shop.
　　There are a wide variety of rice noodles, and we order the most familiar one - Cross Bridge Rice Noodle.
　　After a long while, a middle-aged dark face waiter serves us with ingredient and dry rice noodle on a tray. The ingredients are really rich on the plate: half-baked chicken, ham, beef, bamboo shoots and Chinese yam, arranged like an opening fan. Two small dishes are also on the plate: one is leek salad, and the other is a raw quail egg, transparent yellow and small. Under the dish is a large bowl with dry rice noodle.
　　The waiter puts them on the table and walked away, and we are wondering how to start. Immediately, the waiter gives each person a big bowl of hot chicken soup, but the soup looks like cold. If you push the hot oil aside with a spoon, you can smell the soup accompanied by rising steam, so you are eager to eat them all.
　　Pour the ingredient into the hot soup, and in a minute they are braised, then pour the cooked noodle for ten seconds. The taste is amazing with the delicious soup and the smooth noodle. I do not know the method of making rice noodle, but Yunnan rice noodle is really unique. The temperature of Kunming is low, especially in the morning. After eating the rice noodle and drinking the delicious and refreshing soup, you will fell nice and warm. For the foodie like me, it can be no more satisfying to have such a bowl of rice noodle.
　　We continue to embark on the journey after enjoying the Yunnan rice noodle.                     
　　We could not find an authentic noodle restaurant in Yichang, and the Cross Bridge Rice Noodle in Kunming is a sweet and warm memory in Yunnan.
