On August 26 , CYPC (China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd.) announced that, CTGC (China Three Gorges Corporation), the controlling shareholder, signed a “strategic cooperation agreement” with CNNC (China National Nuclear Corporation). They will promote traditional nuclear power project, nuclear power industry chain cooperation and new technology development together in form of equity cooperation.

　　It announced that CTG and CNNC will promote traditional nuclear power project and nuclear power industry chain cooperation, including equity cooperation, investment, operation and management. The nuclear power project in Taohuajiang in Hunan Province will be one of the key projects. In addition, CNNC will cooperate with CTG in aspects of its nuclear power industry chain and nuclear fuel stocklization. It will also launch joint investment and construction in new nuclear power projects. (Reporter Long Yizhou)
