On September 16th, the police in Yichang successfully uncovered the biggest drug trafficking case in history after five months of tough investigation. On September 21st, the Municipal Bureau of Public Security announced that they have caught 11 suspects, seized 17 kg of drugs, 300,000 RMB of drug money, 2 pistols and 7 bullets.

　　A senior drug dealer hid in Yichang

　　In April this year, the Municipal Bureau of Public Security Wujiagang Branch discovered a clue of a male named Guo with a nickname of Big Brother pushing drugs in Wujiagang when they investigated a drug trafficking case.

　　With the support from superior department of public security, after secret investigation, the Bureau of Public Security Wujiagang Branch found out that this was a drug trafficking gang crossing Guangdong and Hubei Province with quite a few members that transported and sold drugs with clear division of labor. And Big Brother was core.

　　On April 22nd, the Bureau of Public Security Wujiagang Branch reported to the Municipal Bureau of Public Security. Deng Huilin, the Standing Committee, the first deputy secretary of Politics and Law Committee, the director of the Municipal Bureau of Public Security made the decision to build the special investigation team to uncover the case.

　　The police of the special team found that Big Brother chose Yichang as the drug collecting and distributing centre. He bought drugs from drug dealers in Guangzhou and Hunan and brought back to the urban area of Yichang City, then distributed them to other regions around Yichang. The drug dealer in Guangdong named Shi-fu(Master) was in charge of the source of drugs and assigning the transportation of methamphetamines from Guangdong to Yichang; the drug dealer in Hunan named Awei was in charge of the source of hemp which was transported from Burma to Shenzhen to Master, and then transported to Yichang.

　　On August 16th, the special team was informed that Big Brother Guo discussed with Master Cai and planed to buy 10kg of methamphetamines at the price of 40 RMB per gram and buy 20,000 hemps at the price of 30 RMB for each. 　　At 1 pm on August 21st, after arriving in urban area of Yichang, Zhang behaved very cunning that he entered several hotels without checking in for fear of being tracked. To deal with this situation, Yichanggroup sent more police and cars to follow him to get the full information of his routines, and10 commandos wearing body armors and carrying loaded guns waited for the command to seize the suspects.

　　According to the information, Zhang and Guo would trade in the parking lot of a hotel. The police on mission rapidly circled Zhang when receiving the order. Then Zhang tried to run away by driving the car but was forced to stop because of the encircling and striking of police cars. As a result, Guo was seized and 14kg drugs were found at the interlayer of the driver’s seat and under the cushion at the bottom of the back seats of the white BMW.

　　After that, Yichang group rapidly started to capture Guo’s accomplices, seized Wu and other suspects 7 in total and netted 200,000 RMB of drug money, more than 2kg of drugs, a homemade pistol and 5 bullets. At the same time, Shenzhen and Dongguan groups caught Zhen on the same evening under the cooperation of the local police, and captured more than 90,000 RMB of drug money, but Cai escaped.

　　On September 16th, Dongguan group caught Cai after a month of investigation under the cooperation of the local police, and netted 1kg of drugs, one copy pistol, two bullets. So far, the No.304 case under the supervision of Ministry of Public Security was successfully uncovered.
