On September 23rd, in Moshi Town of Changyang Tujia Autonomous County, at the construction site of Longwu (Longzhouping-Wuyanquan) First Class Highway, a road connecting Longzhouping Town in Changyang County and Wuyanquan Town in Yidu County-level City, workers and machines were busy working. The road will connect Huyu, Yizhang Highway and Luyu First Class Highway, and it will bring great benefits for the local people.
　　During the first four months of the project, 333,333 square meters land acquisition had been completed, nearly 20 construction vehicles came to the construction site and the pioneer road took shape, while a happiness road is to start slowly.
　　According to Changyang County Transportation Bureau, Longwu First Class Highway is not only one of the key projects in the national transportation construction of Wuling Minority Economic and Social Development Experimental Zone, but also one of the key projects of the "Twelfth Five Year Plan" in Yichang City. It was in the list of "ten major social development projects" in Changyang County. The construction of the road will change the current situation of the poor transportation in the south of Changyang. It has great significance in improving the regional structure of main road network and the traffic in the mountain area, and integrating into the "half an hour economic circle" of Yichang.
　　The section of Moshi Town to Wuyanquan Town in the Longwu Highway is 9.38 km, and the length in the Moshi town is 7.08 kilometers, including Luxi, Sankouyan and Moshi village. According to the construction company, 3.2 km pioneer road has been completed and the speed of future roadbed project will be greatly promoted. The completion of Longwu First Class Highway will realize the combined development of Changyang County, Wufeng County and Yidu County-level City, promote the upgrading of regional transportation in Hunan, Hubei Yangtze River Three Gorges Area and Wuling Mountain Area, in favor of the formation of regional tourism "gold necklace" among Three Gorges Dam, Qingjiang River Art Gallery and Zhangjiajie, and other famous scenic spots, and thereby bring along the development of Wuling Mountain Area, Enshi City, Yichang City and other places.(Reporters: Gao Wei, Correspondents: Mu Gong, Liu Xinli)
