The total amount of the city\'s high-tech industry grew rapidly in the first nine months of this year. The high-tech industry added value reached 34.194 billion yuan, up 14.8% from year on year, according to the Yichang Municipal Science and Technology Bureau.
　　There are totally 256 high-tech industry enterprises, among which 36 enterprises\' output value exceeded 1 billion yuan, 12 enterprises exceeding that of last year; 51 enterprises\' output value exceeded 500 million yuan, 16 enterprises exceeding that of last year. 145 high-tech enterprises were included, and 55 enterprises exceeding that of last year. The high-tech industry has achieved a total added value of 24.508 billion yuan, up 20.63% over the previous year, accounting for 71.67% of the city\'s total industrial added value of high-tech production.
