According to the Municipal Bureau of Commence, some enterprises in Yichang City attracted much attention in “Hong Kong Fashion Show in Wuhan” for they have reached cooperation agreements with six Hong Kong enterprises. Yichang people are expected to buy authentic Hong Kong products in their own city.
According to Deng Tengfei, a staff member of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the “Hong Kong Fashion Show in Wuhan”, co-sponsored by the Municipal Government of Wuhan and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, aims to deepen the economic and commercial exchanges and cooperation between Hubei Province and Hong Kong so that Hubei’s position and role as a logistics center will be strengthened. From November 14 to 18, more than 200 Hong Kong enterprises brought over 300 fashion brands and nearly 10,000 high-quality products for the showcase at the event. Seven commercial trading enterprises from Yichang, including Yichang International Trade Group, Hubei Handa Business Group, Yichang Tong Yi Trading Co., Ltd., participated in the event. They showed up as the key members of the delegation headed by Wang Rong, who is the CPPCC Vice Chairman, President of CCPIT and Deputy Director of the Municipal Commercial Bureau.
At the fair, Yichang, as an important commercial center of the Hubei Province, enjoyed popularity among the businessmen from Hong Kong. Its seven commercial trading enterprises established contacts with more than 30 Hong Kong enterprises, and 6 Hong Kong enterprises reached cooperation agreements with Yichang enterprises, covering food, household appliances, washing, infant products, DIY periphery and imported goods.
It is also learned that Yichang International Trade Group held a talk with Tai Xing Restaurant, Edo Trade, Hong Kong Taste, All Hong Kong’s Real Taste, German Treasure and other catering enterprises.
