According to the Yichang Municipal Agricultural Bureau, The Plan of Constructing Quality and Safety Traceability System for Orange, Tea and High Mountain Vegetable in Yichang has passed the review by expert group from Hubei Provincial Agricultural Safety Office, Zhejiang University and Hubei Provincial Rural Information Center. This signifies that from now on preponderant and distinctive agricultural products produced in Yichang City will enter the market with unified “identity”.

　　Mainly with technology for Internet of Things, a three-level supervisory platform, namely, the city, county and enterprise levels, and a public inquiry and traceability platform will be established to help preponderant and distinctive agricultural products produced in Yichang City like orange, tea and high mountain vegetable enter the market with unified “identity”. Aided by the two platforms, consumers can not only get thorough information in time about the production and quality management of the producers, but also can check the source of agricultural products through traceability platform when purchasing agricultural products, thus ultimately realizing supervision in production and traceability in consumption.
