Medium, small and micro-sized enterprises are the vital force for economic development, main channel for employment and an important source for innovation. the municipal party committee and municipal government has attached great importance to these SMEs and microenterprises, which turns these enterprises into an important force in promoting local economic development, adjusting industrial structure, flourishing urban and rural markets as well as expanding social employment.
　　In recent years, to better stimulate their vitality of SMEs and microenterprises, the State Council and provincial and municipal governments have issued a number of policies and measures in favor of their development so as to further broaden the field and scope of private investment and accelerate the healthy development of these enterprises
　　To help companies to keep abreast of relevant supporting policies, to fully grasp the historical opportunity, and to actively participate in the construction of mega-cities, achieving common prosperity of the industrialization and urbanization, and in order to make more contributions to economic development of Yichang, Yichang Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission, Yichang Municipal Office of Personnel Leading Group of CPC, the Municipal Treasury Bureau, Yichang Local Taxation Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security and the Central Branch of People\'s Bank of China in Yichang have made joint efforts to issue “Policies for SMEs and Microenterprises”, which composed by relevant policies published by the state, the government of provinces and cities in recent years.
　　“Policies for SMEs and Microenterprises” was composed by the policy file directory and the summary of preferential policies. And all policies and measures involved in this document can be searched on the portal websites of Yichang Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission, Yichang Municipal Office of Personnel Leading Group of CPC, the Municipal Treasury Bureau, Yichang Local Taxation Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security and the Central Branch of People\'s Bank of China in Yichang. Meanwhile, the industry and information technology column of the "Three Gorges Daily" will keep on reporting new policies to ensure that these SMEs and microenterprises have  prompt access to government supportive policies.
