The urban built-up area in Yichang, home to 1.5 million people, has reached 152.6 square kilometers. In addition, the per capita green area has increased by 1 square meter, up to 14.15 square meters compared with the last year.
　　In addition, the planning and construction of 520 kilometers greenway in Yichang has been accelerated relying on the rich green resources, which aims to create an recreation and leisure space and a green open space for residents to form a new pattern of greenway system including the greenway along the Yangtze River, the Huangbohe, the Juanqiaohe, the Bolinhe and the canal.
