On Dec 18, Alibaba Yichang Industry Belt has been officially launched after Yichang E-commerce Development Conference & Alibaba Yichang Industry Signing and Launching Ceremony.
　　It is learnt that Alibaba (Yichang) Industry Belt, an important part of Alibaba (China) Industry, has been jointly built by Yichang municipal government and Alibaba Group. It has been the first platform in Hubei province by far. The platform features in the cooperation between Alibaba Group and the municipal government, operation launches into business the third-party professional service provider and collection of honest merchants and high-quality goods with Yichang characteristics. Therefore it can help the buyers to purchase high-class supply of goods, help the sellers to elevate their competitiveness and to enlarge the sales volume. Moreover, an effective E-commerce marketing channel will be set up by the platform for the enterprises in Yichang to promote Yichang-featured products throughout the country.
　　At present, 82 enterprises have joined Alibaba (Yichang) Industry Belt, including local competitive enterprises in all walks of life. Apart from pillar industries, such as chemical engineering, food & drugs, etc, it will also lay emphasis on building agricultural by-products with local characteristics, especially citrus-featured fruit industry, herbivore-featured husbandry, ecological aquaculture in reservoir area, pollution-free & off-season vegetable industry, high-quality green tea- featured tea industry and gastrodia elata-featured traditional Chinese medicines industry.
