The Commercial Network Planning of Central Yichang Examination and Appraisal Meeting was held On Dec. 23. Experts from Department of Commerce of Hubei Province, China Three Gorges University, Hubei University of Economics, Yichang Urban Planning Bureau and Research Office of the People\'s Government of Yichang Municipality jointly reviewed and approved the Commercial Network Planning of Central Yichang, and they also discussed the future development of Yichang’s trade and business.
　　The Commercial Network Planning of Central City in Yichang was compiled by  the Yichang Planning Information Center commissioned by Yichang Municipal Bureau of Commerce. Through thorough investigation for nearly three years, the staff had mastered the firsthand format of development of Yichang\'s trade and business. In line with the overall urban planning of Yichang City, the Planning spans from year 2013 to 2030, covering areas like Xiling District, Wujiagang District, Dianjun District, Xiaoting District, Xiaoxita Town, the Three Gorges Dam area as well as some urban areas of county-level cites. In the Planning, the focus involves urban commercial centers, commercial format, supporting commercial network, etc. According to the principle of "differentiated guide (in different districts) and control (in different businesses)", old urban area and new urban area will be guided to adopt different models of development so that "2+4+17+200+12" four-level commercial centers layout will gradually come into being.
　　According to the Planning, 2 city-level commercial centers will be constructed in Xiling District and Wujiagang District; 4 comprehensive district-level commercial centers, to serve the citizens and meet the needs of local industries, will be set in Xiaoxita Town, Dianjun District, Xiaoting District and Baiyang Town; 17 area-level commercial centers, referring to urban function zoning, will be set in Dongshan Development Zone, the area of Gezhouba Dam, Wulong Area, Honghuatao Town and Gaobazhou Town; 200 community-level pilot commercial centers in the new model of "15-minute Convenient Consumption Sphere" will be established in Yichang. On the basis of four-level commercial centers (city-level, district-level, area-level, community-level), the culture, tourism, folklore, food resources of Yichang urban area will be integrated, and 12 featured commercial streets will be built.  
　　After careful check, the expert appraisal group approved the Planning and endorsed the concept of “great commerce, big market, ecology-oriented, leisure-oriented and smartness-oriented” reflected from new commercial center layout. Meanwhile, they also hoped that its structure could be further improved by blending commercial service system in network layout for a higher pertinence and more effective guide of Yichang commercial center blueprint. (Reporter: Zhang Bokang, Correspondent: Deng Tengfei)
