According to Yichang CPIT, agricultural products from Yichang were popular among all the visitors at the 23th China Food Expo and Fair held in Wuhan and were invited to enter the markets of Zhejiang and Jiangsu Province . 
　　Yang Shuang, one of the staff from the CPIT of Yichang introduced that the 23rd China Food Expo and Fair was jointly sponsored and hosted by the China National Food Industry Association, the People\'s Government of Hubei Provincial and the People\'s Government of Wuhan City, the Business Office of Hubei Province and the Bureau of Commerce of Wuhan City. There were 23,000 products from 17 cities as well as 18 provinces participating in the fair. The CPIT of Yichang encouraged 18 top agricultural products processing firms in Yichang to participate the fair including the Ba-shu Dark Tea Corporation, the Fish Cake of Sister Qin, Yuanyefeng and Julong Honey Corporation.
　　The products from Yichang such as fish cake, dark tea and honey were very popular among the residents in Wuhan. The fish cake of Sister Qin was the best-seller product in particular, which even couldn’t meet the demand of consumers by one time replenishment per day; it has been the first time for Ba-shu dark tea to participate in the Food Fair making it known to all participants. All the dark tea have been sold out within 2 days; it also offered a great opportunity for the Qingjiang PengBo Firm which signed $ 200,000 contract of sturgeon fish delivered to Kazakhstan on site.
　　During the Food Fair, the Yichang CPIT of also organized some exhibitors to participate in fairs of Marketing Center for Shanghai Agricultural Products. Contracts had been signed by the firms including the Tulaohan Corporation, Ba-shu Dark Tea Corporation, Fish Cake of Sister Qin as well as Julong Honey with the marketing center on site, and agreement had been made to help more agricultural products from Hubei Province participate in the event of “agricultural products entering into 26 main communities” in Shanghai by the end of December, which will lay a foundation for top agricultural products entering into the market of Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province. (By Zhang Bokang and Liu Ziquan)
