According to the Department of Transport, the Yiba Expressway(Yichang to Badong) opened to traffic at 9:30 am on Dec 27, which signifies the complete G42 Hurong (Shanghai-Chengdu) Expressway is put into full operation, reducing the self-driving trip between Yichang and Chongqing to just about 6 hours and a toll charge of 420 yuan in total.
　　According to the Yichang Transportation Group, with the full operation of Yiba Expressway, Yichang Long-Distance Bus Service Center will increase direct coaches from Yichang to Badong, Fengjie and other cities. The first and last departure time is not only extended, but the entire time on the average is reduced by one third.
　　A person in charge from Yichang Transportation Group Long Distance Business Service Center introduces that the first departure time of Yichang to Badong, Wushan, Fengjie and Wuxi is moved to 6:30 am and the last departure is extended to 7:30pm; the number of the buses from Yichang to Badong has increased from 12 to 16 and the entire single trip takes only about 2.5 hours; the number of the buses from Yichang to Wushan has increased from 2 to 6 and the entire ride is reduced to 3 hours; the number of the buses from Yichang to Fengjie has increased from 3 to 7 and the single trip only takes 3.5 hours; the number of the buses running from Yichang to Wuxi has increased from 2 to 3 and the entire ride is reduced to 4 hours.
