The 2014 " Light of Quality " Annual Award Ceremony was held in the Great Hall of People On December 26th. As one of the 20 candidate cities, Yichang won the title of " Quality Charming City ". The annual "Light of Quality " program is directed by the General Administration of Quality Supervision (AQSIQ). In 2012, The China Quality Daily promoted this annual program with feathers in "all citizens participation & collective memory". The " Light of Quality" has become the most interactive and extensive activity in China\'s quality field which has begun to catch more attention. The important evaluation criteria of annual "Quality Charming City " is to improve the happiness index by building the city into a model city with good quality.
　　At the beginning of this year when Yichang was permitted to be built into a "National Model Quality City", the Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government have started to carry out the Quality Development Plan, by implementing the strong city strategies and completing the great quality working mechanism. The Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government also aim to benefit people and to improve the service quality. Yichang ranks top both in the satisfaction evaluation of customer services and tourists services for two consecutive years. Yichang has continuously been titled as one of the "Quality Model Cities" for six years. The China Quality Daily recommended that Yichang should be an important transportation hub city in central China. In recent years, Yichang has successfully implemented high-quality strategies and has allocated special funds to honor the enterprisers and the inPiduals. Yichang has been successfully practiced the encouragement and reward system for the performance management and administration quality. Also Yichang has been built the "Yichang Exquisite Brands "into more competitive through brand effect for Yichang\'s future.
　　So far, Yichang has 39 Chinese Made Famous Brands, 22 National Geographic Indication Products. 120 products out of 80 enterprises have been awarded as " Famous Products in Hubei". The output of 6 Yichang local products ranks first in the world, two ranking first in Asia, 11 ranking first in the country.
