The evaluation panel of the sixth “Chutian Cup” of Hubei Province, accompanied by Mao Chuanqiang, deputy mayor and member of the Municipal Standing Committee, carried out the examination and acceptance of the city’s achievements made in the planning, construction, management and other aspects in recent three years. There is a “Chutian Cup” centralized examination once every three years, implementing the daily dynamic evaluation management. “Chutian Cup” is the highest award in Hubei’s housing construction area awarded by the Provincial Party Committee and provincial government on each city’s achievements in planning, construction, management and housing fund after a comprehensive evaluation. In recent years, based on the orientation of a deputy central city, Yichang government combined the goal of building a modern mega-city with the construction of a national model city, accelerating the upgrading of planning and construction management. As a result, the urban carrying capacity, reputation and comprehensive competitiveness of Yichang City have been significantly enhanced.
