On January 23, reporters learn from Wujia Traffic Police Battalion of Yichang Municipal Public Security Bureau that the first electronic road sign of real-time traffic have been installed in Yihua Shanyucheng Road, Chengdong Avenue, Yichang City. With this real-time electronic road sign, drivers can know the real-time traffic ahead as long as they look up the sign.
　　With colored lines (green, for smooth traffic; orange, busy; red, congested), the electronic road sign can not only inform citizens the roads ahead and the real-time traffic in several major roads like Zhongnan Road and Gangyao Road, but more importantly facilitate them with the real-time traffic flow and help them choose a relative smooth road to their destinations.
　　On January 25th, the reporter randomly sought advice on this innovation from the drivers in the street. Chen Fan said that he used to worry about the traffic jam and for the ignorance of the situation ahead he himself often squeezed into the block, but now he could get it in advance and circumambulate to avoid the congestion. Huang Jili, a non-local driver, said that this practice had been carried out in some big cities and intuitively shown the traffic information. Though not functioning well in every section, this practice really offers convenience for the people.
