It’s learned from the Municipal Food and Drug Administration Working Conference On March 4th that Yichang, with building provincial food safety city as the key, will strive to construct a food safety guarantee framework under an all-round strict supervision to achieve the stage goal of constructing the best food safety assurance city in China.
　　The Municipal Food and Drug Supervision Bureau will carry out the specific regulation campaigns concerning “using food addictives excessively and putting inedible materials into food illegally”, food plasticizer, food labeling, Chinese medicine drinks and Chinese medicine extracting,  highlighting the supervision of such key categories  as citrus, tea, meat and wine to achieve, within this year, the concrete goals including over 80% coverage of the electronic tracing system of food wholesale, large supermarkets and infant dairy, the full coverage of food and drug safety grid management, the perfection of food safety credit supervisory platform and the creation of “blacklist” for Yichang’s food and drug credit system by further perfecting food safety tracing mechanism.
