The CBD Riverside Project with the biggest social investment in Yichang New District officially laid a foundation. At the same day, the 7th batch of 29 key projects with total investment of 37.7 billion yuan started in Yichang New District. Until then, the key projects which had started in Yichang New District added up to 173 with a total investment of more than 100 billion yuan.
　　Huang Chuping, Member of the Standing Committee of Hubei Province and Secretary of Yichang Municipal Committee, and Chen Yuanhua, chairman of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd paid a special visit to the work field of this project. They were accompanied by municipal leaders Zhang Jianyi, Ma Xuejun and Mao Chuanqiang as well as Li Yong, vice general manager and Liu Jianming, general manager assistant.
　　The CBD Riverside Project is invested by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. Its estimated total investment is more than 15 billion yuan. The project locates on the south of Wuyi Square and on the north of the Yangtze River. Abutting Wujiagang District Government, it is flanked by Shenjiadian Road on the east and Baisha Road on the west. It enjoys 800-meter-long riverside scenery which is the only available land for development along Yangtze River in Yichang urban area.  
　　Huang congratulated on the official foundation and the commencement of the 7th batch of 29 key projects. Huang also praised China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd as the creator of efficiency and the leader of building quality, who made big contribution to Yichang and Hubei Province. After getting acquainted with the project preparation and the construction of key projects in Yichang New District, Huang stressed that CBD Riverside Project, infrastructural projects, government-leading projects and other key projects played an important role in developing Yichang into a modern megacity. He also said, we should accelerate the construction of the Central Business District and other key projects according to the standards of the time and vision of the world. We should also pursue the first class connotation and quality, to develop the CBD Riverside Project into a regional commercial, financial and cultural center as well as a modern service center.

　　Chen introduced the investment situation of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd in Yichang as well as other regions of Hubei province, extending his thanks to Yichang Municipal Party Committee and Yichang Municipal Government for their considerable supports for a long time.
