Last Tuesday, Ma Xuming, the mayor of Yichang city, conducted an on-the-spot inspection on the work of industrial economy and the construction of the integration of urban and rural areas in Yidu. Ma pointed out that Yidu should firmly carry out practices focusing on the theme of "new normal, new achievement, new performance", strive to speed up the economic growth of the south parts of the Yangtze River, and take active efforts to push forward the goal of building Yichang city a modern mega-city in order to make new more contributions in constructing Yichang the first non-capital city with rapid economic development of central China.
　　Ma also conducted the inspection in many places of Yidu, including on the integration of urban and rural areas in Honghuatao town, the optical industrial park of CIC, the bio-technological park of TuLaoHan, 388 Yangtze River industrial park, the project of New Plaza, New Center, and Senhong Optics Co, Ltd.
　　Honghuatao town has won the title of Demonstration Town of One Famous Product in One Village, the “Model Town” of Hubei Province, the Demonstration Town of New Rural Construction and the pilot town for the urban-rural integration of Yichang City. Ma appreciated the work of the integration of urban and rural regions as well as achievements gained by officials in Honghuatao town in Yidu. He said that Honghuatao, as an important town to linking Yidu and main urban areas of Yichang city, also plays an important role in completing the construction of building Yichang a modern megacity. Yidu should make more active efforts to accelerate the construction of mega-city with better planning, high-level construction to fully improve the city\'s powerful features. The goal of completing the construction of Four Modernization at the same time should be pushed forward and the coordinated development of urban and rural areas should be vigorously promoted by keeping the pace of the construction of the whole city.
　　The optical industrial park of CIC, invested by the Group of CIC, has the capacity of manufacturing and assembling photovoltaic panels. In the year of 2012, the Group has built a 500MW photovoltaic station in Bozhou of Xinjiang, with the annual power generation capacity of 130 million watts and 130MW has been completed in the last year. Having known the company’s production and management situation in detail, Ma Xuming pointed out that Yichang is one of the first national new energy demonstration cities. While the Group of CIC, as a leading enterprise in the photovoltaic industry in Hubei province, should pay more attention to the needs of the markets, strengthen scientific and technological innovation, and boost the development of new energy industry in Yichang.
　　The construction of bio-technological park of TuLaoHan regarded as the key project of agricultural industrialization in Hubei province with its total investment reaching 10 billion. Once the industrial park has been completed, 70,000 tons of snack foods including dried fish and meat products, 120,000 tons of fish soy sauce as well as 150,000 tons of lobster sauce will be produced, thus the sales of these products will reach 5 billion with 200 million yuan in profits and taxes. According to the introduction of the responsible officials, Ma Xuming said that the Group of TuLaoHan should vigorously carry out scientific and technological innovation as well as innovation in management, and actively explore the market, expand the positive influence, and strive to create China\'s first brand of citrus. It is also of great significance for the group to highlight the enterprise\'s core values of "conscience, responsibility and the future," and to strive for creating a time-honored brand.
　　Ma Xuming also pointed out that this year is a crucial year for deepening reform as well as the first year to comprehensively promote the rule of law. As the second prosperous county in Hubei province as well as the first prosperous county in Yichang city, Yidu should fully carry out the practice focusing on the theme of "new normal, new achievement, new performance", strive to speed up the economic growth of the south parts of the Yangtze River, promote the transformation and upgrading and further deepen reform and innovation.
