The March 15 International Consumer Rights Protection Day, and the Consumer Honesty Awards Ceremony was held at the Yiling Square, Yichang. The city leaders, Liao Dafeng, Wang Jinjian and Qu Peng were present at the ceremony.
　　At the ceremony, the top 10 integrity sectors，the nominated sectors, the outstanding safeguarding rights websites and excellent inPiduals were rewarded. The website called “Yichang Every Day, 3.15” and the public wechat account number were publicized formally online the same day. This is the new embodiment of rights protection. In order to express the gratitude to the consumers’ support of the integrity activity, the committee of the ceremony selected some lucky consumers on the spot.
　　During the ceremony, some service activities, such as exhibiting the fake and shoddy commodities, publicizing the ways to distinguish the counterfeit, releasing the safeguarding rights cases, giving consumption warning of 2015 all drew majority of citizens’ and consumers’ attention. Yichang Municipal Administrative of Quality and Technology Supervision, Yichang Food and Drug Administration and Yichang Municipal Tourism Bureau, together with many consumers’ association executive director sectors set up the reception platforms to cope with the consumer complaints.
