According to the Construction Department of Yichang New District, the pre-screened contractors directory of 2015-Residents Housing Project was released by relevant department.  The first and above level SOEs, this year’s “top 20 construction enterprises” as well as 32 other enterprises are in the directory.   

　　In August 2013, the Yichang Municipal Government set up an urban village housing project leading group for the primary general contractor directory. The group introduced the primary general contraction of urban Yichang city and village system of housing project for the first time. By public tendering, it made a comprehensive valuation of construction enterprises in qualifications, strengths, reputation, financial position, awards and recongnition etc. After selecting, 30 companies ultimately were listed into the directory.  

　　In February 2014, the city implemented a “Large Packages, Big Business, Big Contracting ” subject, namely the “ Three Big’’ subject, to accelerate the construction of infrastructure, public buildings, resettlement housing and landscape project construction. The subject attracted more than 20 SOEs, as well as famous enterprises to come and make cooperation.    

　　Earlier this year, Yichang decided to combine Per-selection Prime Contractor of Yichang City and Village Housing Project with the “Three Big” and launched Pre-screened Contractors Dictory of 2015 City and Village Housing Project. Thanks to that, listed companies are not only increased in number, their level of strength is further enhanced, too.(Reporter Lei Chengpeng, Correspondents Xin Quxuan, Chen Liang).
