It was not uncommon to see a crowd around loudspeakers in the doorway of a vegetable market in Wujiagang, Yichang. Some sales promotions in the name of clearance sale or sale price have been officially put on the list as violations of consumer rights on April 12, and will be severely punished since March 15, 2015 according to the Consumer Rights Protection Bureau of Yichang Municipal Industrial and Commercial Bureau.

　　State Administration of Industry and Commerce (SAIC) has issued Acts to Against the Violations in Interests of Consumers and to implement since March 15, 2015, focusing on the governance of false propagandas, such as promotions in the name of clearance sale or sale price. Branch in Taozhu Road of Xiling District of Yichang Municipal Industrial and Commercial Bureau has successfully handled the first case of false propagandas according to the Acts to Against the Violations in Interests of Consumers on March 18. The vendors said that all their shoes are sold at the price of ￥9.9. But two Inspectors find that the shoes are counterfeit goods when they see the shoes. Li Chunsheng , one of the inspector, pointed out that vendors try to attract more consumers to buy their goods in the name of clearance sale or sale price. He asked the vendors several questions and gave these vendors a penalty of ￥3000 as the punishment because of their false propagandas. 

　　Any business dealers should not try to attract consumers by using gimmicks, such as the lowest price or clearance price, any offenders will be severely punished by Yichang Municipal Industrial and Commercial Bureau. Any consumer should report false propagandas to authorities once they find these behaviors so as not to be deceived. (By Zhang Bokang and Xue Fan)
