BRT Engineering in Dongshan Avenue is drawing to a close from April 15th and the final-stage asphalt paving construction has started, according to Dongshan Avenue Reconstruction & BRT Construction Headquarters. At the same time, road greening on both sides, sidewalk pavement and colored asphalt pavement on non-motorized vehicle lane will complete before the end of this month.

     The construction unit was making preparations for the pavement at the junction of Dongshan Avenue at 5:00PM yesterday. Long Sihai, project manager of 3rd section, told the reporter that the asphalt pavement would start from Baisha Road to Chengxiang Road on April 16th, with one-side construction and the other two-way traffic, and change over the next day. Then the project will continue from Chengxiang Road to Heyi Road, thus, the pavement from Baisha Road to Gangyao Road will complete before the end of this month.

     Traffic management departments will mark traffic signs and lanes according to BRT Standards while the pavement is finished. Drivers and pedestrians should choose suitable path to avoid construction sections and subject to the management of traffic controllers. (Reporter: Xiao Min; Correspondent: Deng Tao)
