The Yichang Agriculture Bureau released the progress about fighting against agricultural materials counterfeiting for protecting farmers and spring plough and revealed that there were totally 30 cases placed on the file for investigating and prosecution, and 780,000 RMB economic losses had been retrieved for Farmers.  

　　In order to crack down those fake and shabby agricultural materials, create good business environment for agricultural materials, and guarantee the preparation for spring plough and the quality of agricultural materials, the Yichang Agricultural Bureau have planned, acted ahead of the schedule to achieve tangible results on fighting against agricultural materials counterfeiting and guaranteeing preparation of spring plough since last winter and Spring of this year by strictly implementing the spirits of the video-telephone conference held by central government and government of Hubei Province. 

Up to now, all the agricultural departments of the whole city have held 12 trainings for the business men of agricultural materials with 1800 personnel participating and more than 2000 relevant documents being issued. They have also randomly checked 256 enterprises involving agricultural materials’ production, selling and repairing; rectified 11 veterinary drug markets, investigated and penalized 9 illegal veterinary drug business entities. In total, they have deployed 1675 law enforcement officers, inspected 2303 enterprises and shops involving in the business of agricultural materials, made 105 corrective actions to the market, and confiscated 5570kg illegal agricultural materials valuing 170,000 RMB, and retrieved  an economic loss of 780,000 RMB for farmers. It’s reported that 30 cases have been placed on the file for investigating and prosecution, and 50 cases have been ordered for rectification. (Reporter: Cao Yang, Correspondent: Liu Juan)
