According to the Yichang Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics, the disposal income per capita of Yichang residents rose to 5,119 yuan in the first quarter of 2015, up 10.90%, with the absolute value ranking third and increase rate fourth in Hubei Province.

    Yichang’s GDP has increased 8.8%. This steady economic growth in the first quarter created good conditions for the increase of Yichang residents’ per capita disposal income. Furthermore, kinds of tax reduction measures were in place and business benefits were in up trend that supported its increase. According to the sample investigation conducted by Yichang Investigation Team, Yichang urban residents’ per capita disposal income grew rapidly and reached 6,369 yuan with a year-on-year growth of 9.94% and the absolute value ranking third in Hubei Province; its rural residents’ per capita disposal income reached 3,770 yuan with a year-on-year growth of 12.7% and the increase rate ranking first in the Province.
