According to news on April 28th from Xinhua News Agency in Beijing, China had sent more helicopters for rescuing trapped Chinese in a Suva Cary Hydropower Station, which receives aids from China, locating at one side of Gillon Port in Nepal, and finally had another 25 Chinese workers evacuated back to China.
It is informed by the Cooperation that through broad efforts, those badly injured Chinese staff and a part of other staff in the project have already safely been back home. Statistics at 5:20pm that day shows 40 people in total have come back and another 2 have been removed to Katmandu, the capital of Nepal.
Currently, 3 helicopters of Chengdu military region are executing transnational rescue missions. Till 5:20 pm, two of them have landed at Gillon Town with 16 project staff in all being taken back.
What’s more, Chinese Embassy in Nepal together with CWE management department in Nepal jointly guided helicopters from Nepal to reach the spot, and 2 Chinese staff had arrived at Katmandu in the helicopter.
