Recently, the Standard Construction Planning for Public Toilets has been approved and released by Yichang Municipal Government, which plans to build 180 public toilets at tourist sites, along the tourist routes and at popular urban tourist places, according to the Office of the Tourism Standardization Construction Leading Group.

　　The construction of the public toilets in tourist attractions will be built in accordance with the standard, the level of standard quality can be Pided into A, AA, and AAA. Toilet of Grade AAA requires that the total area should cover more than 80 square meters, while the Grade AA toilet should be more than 60 square meters.

　　These toilets will be subject to the inspection and approval of the Yichang Municipal Tourism Bureau and other relevant departments and those approved will be granted in accordance with the following standards: each new toilet of AAA, AA, and A level will be subsided with 300,000200,000 and 100,000 and each reconstructed one will be compensated with 150,000, 100,000, and50,000 respectively.
