The placement apartments plan of Yichang was released this week, stating that in 3 years, there would be 23,654 state-owned houses for settlement, which covers 2,920,800 sq. m in total. 

    In 3 years, the city plans to build 23,654 state-owned houses, amounting to 2,920,800 sq.m. The central city plans to start 55 projects of shantytown transformation in 3 years, providing 22,681 such houses for meeting the needs. Up to now, the construction is undergoing with faster pace, aiming to complete and hand over 7,512 sets within this year.

     In order to accelerate the construction, Yichang uses multi-channel ways to collect source of houses; the Municipal Housing Management Bureau encourages social participation, improves monetary compensation proportion to meet the demands of those low-income families; besides, it sets up commercial housings transaction platform where district government can purchase those commercial housings for placement in accordance with related government purchasing policy, thus improving placement efficiency.  (Reporter: Lei Chengpeng; correspondent: Li Ya, Xin Quxuan)
