On June 5th, Hubei Yihua Chemical Industry Co. Ltd carried out a theme activity of World Environment Day, “Chemical Industry Makes Life Better”. More than 300 cadres and staff joined in the activity and made a solemn promise of “practicing green lifestyle”. Meanwhile, they awarded advanced teams and inPiduals who worked in the environment protection in 2015, and “made a stage pose” for the last one.
　　Yu Yunfeng, the secretary of the Party committee, chairman and general manager of the company, said, “In 2015, it is estimated to invest over 100 million Yuan in the upgrade and reformation of hardware facilities for environment protection, such as the desulfurization of sulfuric off-gas, the optimization and renovation of chemical water neutralized pool, the technical transformation of energy-dryer dedusting technique and so on.” The environment protection of industrial company consists of energy-saving, emission-reduction, as well as waste-recycling. Yihua Group is planning to launch the project of developing and utilizing the phosphogypsum to product building gypsum, which can transform the waste phosphogypsum into usable material. With the total reduction of waste phosphogypsum by 0.6 million tons per year, it becomes the biggest comprehensive utilization project of phosphogypsum in our city.
　　According to the latest laws and regulations for protecting the environment, Yihua Group this year issued 11 standards for environment protection management, established responsibility network and signed the contract of responsibility to make it clear at every level. It carried out self-check and self-correct, and strictly implements the system of rewards and punishment. Recently, projects to rectify and reform are pushed forward to the time schedule.
