According to Dongshan Road Transformation & BRT Construction Headquarter, in order to implement hoisting erection of the pedestrian bridge at Beishanpo on Dongshan Road, from 22:00 pm, June 7, all the construction sections started traffic control, semi-range sealing construction and semi-range two-way traffic in the coming week.
　　As giant steel box beams for the pedestrian bridge need to be transferred from Huayan to the construction scene, therefore, the traffic police implement traffic control in phases to insure that the beams could be smoothly sent to the scene and to minimize the impact for citizens’ activities as much as possible. During the construction period, the citizens had better optimize their routes, especially circumventing over rush hours.  
　　In addition, the newly-built pedestrian bridge at Yichang No.22 Middle School has been under constructional decoration; and the new pedestrian bridges located at No.4 Shengli Road, Beishanpo and the Stadium Crossing, and the reconstruction of Lvluo Road pedestrian bridge are all currently in full swing.
　　The main construction of every subway has been completed and decoration construction is in progress. An official in Headquarters expressed that construction unit is working tensely at present, in order to make sure the three subways, respectively in front of Guomao, in the intersection of Yunji Road and of Guoyuan First Road, could be completed before June 30 and trial service of BRT could be realized.
　　BRT subway is more distinctive than other underground passages. First, there is exit leading to BRT platform in both subways in front of Guomao and in the intersection of Guoyuan First Road. Through subway, citizens can head for the platform which locates in the middle of the road to take BRT. Second, subway pavement is installed with go-ahead blind sidewalk and warning blind sidewalk whose stripes and studs are all of stainless steel. Third, suspended ceiling of subway is of aluminum grille with an elegant appearance. Fourth,  all the time-control switches for subway lighting facilities can regulate the number of  lightening bulbs according to pedestrian volume to save more energy and protect environment.
