The project of Wujiagang Yangtze River Bridge was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission On June 2nd.
　　Wujiagang Yangtze River Bridge is one of the main projects of the Planning of Comprehensive Transportation Corridor of the Yangtze River Economic Belt of Yichang City. According to the approval, the bridge, which will last 2.813 kilometers with two-way six lanes, will start from the planning Jiangnan First Avenue in Dianjun District to the Huaxi Road through the Tan’ai Road, Binjiang Road, Yangtze River and Wulin Road, with steel box girder suspension bridge being the main bridge.The total investment of the bridge will be 3.087 billion yuan and the construction will be from 2015 to 2019. After its construction, the bridge will relieve the transportation pressure of central urban area and promote the integrative development of the north and south part of the Yangtze River.
