Yichang Municipal Government and China CITIC Bank Wuhan Branch officially signed an agreement on bank & government cooperation and PPP financing projects On June 17. Huang Chuping, member of Standing Committee of Hubei Province and also the municipal party secretary, met Xu Xuemin, the Branch senior consultant, and Xu Xiaohua, the Branch president.
　　Xu Yujie, the Branch vice president and Ma Xuming, the deputy secretary and the mayor of Yichang, together with other city leaders including Song Wenbao, Ma Xuejun, Mao Chuanqiang, Xu Wei etc attended the signing ceremony and the meeting.
　　On the ceremony, Xu Xiaohua and Ma Xuming on behalf of the two sides signed the twenty billion RMB- valued strategic and cooperative framework agreement; Xu Yujie, Mao Chuanqiang signed the PPP financing agreement on BRT operation with Wang Xiwei, the president of Yichang Urban Construction Investment Holding Group. Besides, the reporter has learned that twenty billion RMB has been used into key areas and major projects such as urbanization construction, public utility, modern service industry, basic infrastructure, industrial zone development etc.
　　Huang congratulated for the successfully signed agreement and expressed sincere thanks to China CITIC Bank for long-term strong supports for Yichang\'s development. He said that Yichang was on the way to develop itself into a large, powerful and beautiful modernized mega-city, which not only needed the support of financial enterprises like China CITIC Bank, but also provided a wider platform for deepened cooperation of the two sides. As he stated, Yichang was to make “Financial Ten Rules” to further develop more financial organizations, produce larger total volumes of finance, offer more updated financial services, optimize financial environment, take special measures to make a breakthrough and accelerate the pace to build a regionally financial center in the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River. He hoped that the Bank would keep an eye on Yichang and give its support as usual, thus turning a new leaf of the win-win cooperation.

For the sound foundation of Yichang’s economic and social development, they, with full confidence in Yichang’s bright future, would continue to follow and support Yichang’s development, playing an active role in constructing Yichang to be a big, strong, perfect and beautiful city and promoting mutual cooperation into a new stage.
　　At the signing ceremony, Ma addressed that Yichang’s economic and social development was in its good momentum which has provided wide opportunities for mutual cooperation. He also expected CITIC to provide more support to Yichang. And Yichang would strive for excellent environment and service to strongly support CITIC’s development in Yichang.
　　Founded in 2011, CITIC Yichang Branch has launched 15 billion yuan of credit funds in Yichang market, with a growing rate of loan ranking first among small and medium-sized joint-stock banks in Yichang last year. It has also achieved joint development and win-win cooperation between bank and government, bank and enterprises by supporting a batch of major urban projects, mainstay enterprises and high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises.
