23 software companies of Yichang participated in the 13th China International Software and Information Service Fair (CISIS) in Dalian on June 16.

　　 These companies are mainly in the cloud computing center of the high-tech zone, the Internet of Things industry base of the Three Gorges, e-commerce demonstration base and sensing of the Internet of Things industry base.

　　In the hall of the CISIS, Hubei exhibition occupied more than 140 square meters, among which Yichang occupied nearly 60 square meters. Nearly a hundred "smart products" of Yichang\'s enterprises, including cloud computing, e-commerce and intelligent hoisting, were launched in the fair. Yichang booth received more than 600 customers on that day.

　　"The rapid development of software industry in Yichang shows the determination and courage of the city\'s transitional development." Hu Zhonghai, Deputy Director-General of the Commerce Department, said after he visiting the fair. The rapid development of a number of strategic emerging industries and modern service industry represented by software and information services in Yichang has laid a good foundation in the building of smart city.

　　Electronic information industry is one of the eight leading industries in Yichang, and the city\'s main business revenue of electronic information manufacturing industry in 2014 exceeded 18 billion yuan. However, one year ago, only 6 software companies of Yichang participated in the 12th CISIS.
