Yichang Science and Technology Bureau and Yichang Finance Bureau awarded 1.3 Million yuan to 23 small and medium-sized enterprises in the pilot Project of Innovative Growth which obtained the fund of national and provincial science and technology project several days ago .

　　   Based on the Plan of Innovative Growth of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of Scientific and Technological Type of Yichang, the pilot enterprises will be recommended with priority when they apply for the national and provincial projects of science and technology. After being approved, these enterprises will be offered 5% to 10% financial support. For pilot enterprises which have engineering and technical research centers, industrial research institutes or key laboratories at provincial level and above could be provided with 5% to 10% financial support. According to these regulations, enterprises supported by the fund of national and provincial science and technology project will be offered municipal financial support. The Plan encourages enterprises to improve their innovative ability, upgrade their products and technology in order to make the demonstration effect and lead more and more enterprises take the way of innovation.  

128 small and medium-sized enterprises of scientific and technological type in the pilot project of innovative growth in our city obtained national and provincial science and technology projects with 14.27 million yuan in total last year. (Correspondent: Xie Chao)
