Wang Yinghua, the deputy major, attended the analysis meeting on Yichang’s tourist economic operation in first half year this week. In this half year, 25.3742 million person-time home and abroad visited Yichang, bringing a total tourist income of 22.985 billion yuan with a year-on-year growth of 21.57%, 34.6% respectively. 

The tourist economy operated well in Yichang in the first half year of 2015. Various regions steadily pushed forward the development of key projects, accelerated industrial transformation and upgrading, intensified the establishment of standards, and innovated marketing methods, quickened industry integration and built a better tourist environment. (Reporter Wang Ying, Correspondent Shi Zhan)
