Hubei Provincial Finance Department and Housing and Urban Construction Department jointly issued that the special funds from the central government for affordable housing projects in urban and rural areas of Yichang reached ￥517.4 million in 2015. Among them, the early batches issued in 2014 reached ￥100.240 million, and another ￥417.16 million will be distributed this year, according to Yichang Municipal Housing Administration.

Hubei Provincial Government issued that affordable housing projects will guarantee the construction of 51,259 units (households) in 2015, which includes 49,749 units of the new construction of affordable housing and the reconstruction of shantytowns; 1,510 households with new rental subsidies. It requires that the construction of 30,000 affordable housing and shantytowns will be completed and they will be available to 20,000 units. At present, all the works are being advanced.

Financial sectors as well as the Housing Management Department will make joint effort to distribute special funds to the projects explicitly.
