Signing ceremony between Wuhan Optical Valley enterprises and Dangyang Municipal Government was held in Dangyang on July 31. Qian Deping, deputy director of Wuhan National Biological Industry Base Construction Management office read the “Approval of construct Biolake Dangyang Biological Health Industrial Park” and conferred the license. Deputy Mayor Song Wenbao attended the activity.

Humanwell Healthcare Group Co., LTD, Sinopharm Medicine Holding Hubei, co., LTD, Shenglong Electric Group, Wuhan Heyuan Green Biological Engineering co., LTD, and Wuhan Optics Valley Energy Saving Co., LTD signed investment cooperation agreement with Dangyang municipal government respectively.

Biolake, located in Wuhan East Lake National Innovation Demonstration Zone, is the 2nd key national industry base build by Wuhan Optics Valley with the thinking of “hundred billion capital industry”. Biolake • Dangyang Biological Health Industrial Park is one of the sub-parks approved by Wuhan National Biological Industry Base as well as an important part of the industrial belt along the Yangtze River in Hubei Province. The first phase of this park will cover a total area of about 3.33 million square meters, close to the Dangyang east exit of Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu expressway, Yi Zhang expressway, Yi Ba expressway and other expressways, 3 kilometers away from the Dangyang Railway Station, 30 kilometers away from the Yangtze golden waterway, only 40 kilometers away from the Three Gorges International Airport, and Yichang East Railway Station.

Dangyang Biological Health Industrial Park will focus on bio-medicine, food processing, cosmetics, cultural and agricultural tourism and other emerging health industries to attract foreign businesses and investment. It will make full use of the rich herbal resources in the foothills of central China in the north latitude 30°, cooperate with the capital, scientific research, and industrial chain advantage of Biolake, focusing on bio-pharmaceutical products and strive to build a modern national GAP, GMP, GSP medical professional market as well as a herbs cultivation and production base of national certification. Dangyang Biological Health Industrial Park will strive to introduce 10-50 well-known biological health companies in the next 3 to 5 years, forming a total investment of over 10 billion Yuan and output value of over 50 billion Yuan, building a most influential Biological Health Industry Park in central China’s county economy, and accelerating the transition and development of Dangyang.

On the day of the event, Humanwell Healthcare Group Co., LTD donated 1 million Yuan to Dangyang Education Bureau; Wuhan Optical Valley and Dangyang agreed to work in pairs to help local students and made a donation.
