In order to response to the heat of the “Hot” experience, and ensure the homeless persons a cool summer, the City Rescue Station implemented a heat relief emergency plan.

City Rescue Station enforced active relief efforts, expanded inspections scope, and carried out street inspections to inspect and exhort every day. To increase inspections and timely discovery, early assistance and found a persuasive rescue especially on areas and sleeping places with many people who can’t make a living and noisy City Center Mall downtown, such as the railway station, bus station, underground tunnels, bridge culverts. Meanwhile, it serves bean soup, herbal tea, watermelon and other summer cooling foods, inspections for 24-hour per day at the station. It also offered cold sick clients timely medical treatment to avoid or minimize outdoor activities and ensure that no hot heat stroke happens.

Since the beginning of summer, City Rescue Station completed the cooling materials and reserves. In addition, the salvage station at Wu Linlu community, Zhang Jiadian community, Shang Shuxiang community and Long Kanglu community of Yichang established temporary rescue places.
