The Science & Technology Department of Hubei Province and Yichang Municipal Government cosponsored “Great Scientific and Technological Achievements Recommendation and Docking Meeting ” in Yichang. the deputy inspector Fang Guoqiang from Provincial Science and Technology Department and deputy mayor of Yichang City, Zhang Junhui attended the meeting.

During the meeting, many universities, such as Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, along with about 12 enterprises from Yichang namely, Xingfa Group and People Luck Pharmaceutical Co. successfully docked and signed 12 supply and demand projects. More than 5 well-known enterprises from Yichang such as China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. Machinery Ship and Yichang Three Gorges Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. released technology demand project at the meeting. About 7 universities, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology and The Second Academy of China Aerospace recommended 7 scientific and technological achievements. At the meeting, the Yichang Center of China Central National Technology Transfer Center Award Ceremony has also been held. Yichang Jun Cheng Technology Services Limited Co. and Academician Li Bohu jointly established a workstation and the opening ceremony has also been held. Beijing Institute of Aerospace Information and Information Technology and Yichang Municipal Science and Technology Bureau signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Wang Bin, dean of Beijing Oriental Silicon Valley Research and Development Institute was invited to give a special lecture at the meeting.

Mr Fang Guoqiang said that Yichang is an important city of science and technology innovation of Hubei. He hoped that Yichang can catch the opportunity to speed up innovation development, utilize the technology innovation to promote and lead Yichang economy and the surrounding regions’ economic and social transformation.
