The technical training meeting of Preservation and Propagation of White Goats was held on 26th,  August. The main point of this meeting was to upgrade the level of white goats to national standard by breed conservation and breeding in 3 to 5 years.

It was requested at the meeting that, the breed conservation and breeding will have more than 15 pedigrees and special and first level race population of more than 1000 white goats. Yichang will be put into the conservation of animal genetic resources list and more than one white goat preservation ground with national standard level will be built. At the same time, all the performance index of white goats will be improved up to the state standard level. The function of Yichang white goat national geographic mark should be improved to promote people’s income, as well as to build a well-known brand.
