The National Bureau of Statistics of China issued the report of the housing price changing of 70 large and middle-sized cities in July on August 18. According to these statistics, it is founded that Yichang new commodity housing (excluding affordable housing) prices decreased by 0.3%, which is 0.1 percentage points lower than in the previous month; Second-hand housing prices grow by 0.2%, with an increase of 0.1 percentage points compared with the expansion in June.
The statistics in the report showed that comparing with June, new commodity housing prices fell in 29 cities among the 70 large and middle-sized cities, rose in 31 cities, and remained the same in 10 cities, and the highest was 6.3% of increase, while the lowest was 0.7% of decline. Among these cities, Wuhan increased by 0.4% and Xiangyang decreased by 0.3%; Second-hand housing prices decreased in 18 cities, increased in 39 cities, and remained the same in 13 cities, and the highest was 5.3% of increase, while the lowest was 1.0% of decline. Among these cities, Wuhan increased by 0.6%, and Xiangyang decreased by 0.3%.
Experts of National Bureau of Statistics of China believe that the overall situation of real estate market in July stayed the same with last month, the sales of new commodity housing increased a little, the integrated average price rise of new commodity housing and second-hand housing in 70 large and middle-sized cities have dropped by 0.2 and 0.1 percentage points respectively compared with last month, the housing prices rose in all first-tier cities and the rate remained high, the housing prices rose almost in all second-tier cities while the rate was a little lower than in the first-tier cities, the housing prices declined almost in all third-tier cities.
